INITIATIVE
First Time Composers is designed to provide music creators of diverse backgrounds access to educational opportunities and resources with the goal of enhancing their path to success! We believe the diversity in our content should also be reflected in music selected to tell these stories. We are seeking fresh new talent interested in composing for film, TV, and marketing projects.
GUIDELINES
- Candidates must be 18 years or older at time of submissions.
- Candidates are encouraged to sign up for performing rights organization (ASCAP/BMI/SESAC, etc) if not already a member.
- Candidates must 100% control both master, publishing, and writer portions of their music.
- Candidates must NOT be signed to a record label or music publishing deal.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
